Can I combine different transfer destinations and put together a multi-day round trip with my own hotels?
Yes, this is possible. Please select your start and destination in the booking mask. If you have more than two "destination to destination transfers", please book again.
Alternatively, you can also go to Combination transfers / overland transfers in a form and send it to us. You will then receive a vacant offer by e-mail.
Please note: The driver is not a guide. However, he will do everything to ensure that you enjoy a pleasant ride. Stops for sightseeing etc. are possible.
Advance booking deadline
What advance booking deadline do I have to observe?
It is usually possible to book an airport transfer with Srilanka Transfer up to six hours before arrival at or departure from the destination. Combination transfers are also possible up to six hours before the desired pick-up time.

Where will I be dropped off?
Wherever you want it. Srilankatransfer offers a door-to-door service. Provided that the booked accommodation can be reached by private transfer or shuttle bus. If this is not possible due to local conditions such as pedestrian zones, roadblocks, impassable roads, etc., you will be taken to the nearest possible impassable point of your booked accommodation. As a rule, you will also be picked up at this point.
Pick-up time
How do I find out my pick-up time for the return transfer?
If you have not already been informed, our German-speaking dispatcher will inform you of the time approximately 24 hours before departure. In case of emergency there is a German-speaking hotline of Srilankatransfer in Sri Lanka. Details are noted in the travel documents.
Reduction for children
Is there a discount for children?
No. With Srilankatransfer you always book and pay per vehicle.
Travel documents
How and when will I receive my travel documents?
Immediately after booking you will receive the confirmation/invoice by e-mail. After receipt of payment we will send you the voucher. Please print out the transfer voucher and take it with you on your trip. You will need it to make use of the transfer. All necessary data is noted. Please check it for completeness.
The driver needs the voucher for billing purposes.
Luggage
How much luggage can I take with me?
The price includes 1 suitcase and 1 piece of hand luggage of the usual size per guest (this also applies to children under 12 years of age). Please register bulky items of luggage (e.g. surfboards) in the information field.
Children and luggage
Are children entitled to take luggage with them?
Of course! One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage are included in the travel price for each child booked. Of course, each child booked is also entitled to a seat. Furthermore, one buggy can be taken along free of charge per booking. A child seat can be ordered as an option.
Bulky luggage
Can I take special baggage with me?
Yes, it is possible to register different types of special baggage. Please book the desired special baggage directly with your transfer. The additional costs for this are already included in the transportation price. It may be necessary to use a larger vehicle (VAN).
Additional luggage
Can I take a second suitcase with me?
Yes, in the "Information" section you have the option of registering additional suitcases with your booking. Please book the additional suitcases directly with your transfer. The additional costs for this are already included in the transportation price. It may be necessary to use a second or larger vehicle if you have a lot of luggage.
Rebooking
Can I rebook the transfer?
Of course. If we are informed early enough, there will be no costs.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to rebook the hotel or location. To do this, you must cancel the existing booking and make a new one. (See AGB / point Cancellation)
Cancellation
Can I cancel the transfer?
At any time and of course. Please note, however, that no refunds can be made for last-minute cancelations.
In case your travel plans change: We also had expenses. Please take note of our cancellation costs.
As a rule, the withdrawal costs that we have to charge are as follows:
- up to 72 hours before the start of the transportation service EUR 21,- / per booking
- thereafter and in the event of non-commencement of the transportation service 100%
Flight time changes
What happens if my flight times change?
Flight times can be changed up to 48 hours before departure. Please contact our German-speaking dispatcher. The telephone number is noted in the documents.

Will I then receive new travel documents?
Yes, you will then receive a change confirmation/invoice from us by e-mail within 24 hours. However, the transfer voucher that has already been sent will remain valid.
Payment methods
How do I pay for my transfer?
You can pay by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer.
Tip
How much should I tip?
A small tip is already included in the price. However, if you are satisfied, you are welcome to give the driver a small tip. He will be delighted.
Am I insured?
We want you to travel safely with us in Sri Lanka. Although insurance is not required, we have taken out insurance for you and all trips. This means that all trips booked and confirmed by SRILANKLATRANSFER are covered.
